UrbanPlan

Urban Plan is a realistic, engaging, and academically challenging classroom-based, web-supported program in which high school students learn the roles, issues, trade-offs, and economics involved in urban development. It provides our future voters, neighbors, community leaders, public officials, and land use professionals with a hands-on experience in developing realistic land use solutions to vexing urban growth challenges.

Sustainable Building Council

The vision of the Sustainable Building Council is Global Citizenship.

The Sustainable Building Council, comprised of a select group of large New York City landlords, investors, managers and sustainable development consultants, has as its primary purpose the “greening” of New York’s existing building inventory.

Community Action Grants

Over the years, ULI New York has applied for Community Action Grants from ULI.  For more information on the grants and their projects, click here.

Community Building

The ULI does not lobby, but its community outreach programs enable ULI leaders to identify challenges to better land use and development, highlight best practices from across the country, and develop new solutions to improve land use patterns. By engaging land use professionals and other stakeholders to resolve complex land use, development and redevelopment problems, ULI members are making a difference in their hometowns.
