In recent years, the Bronx has seen an impressive influx of development and investment, with a 37 percent increase in investment in the borough from 2015 to 2016 alone. In 2016, investment in the Bronx totaled more than $3.27 billion over more than 14.2 million square feet of residential and commercial development. While much of this growth is anchored in residential development, other market sectors are now emerging in the borough’s transformation. This panel will explore the development landscape throughout the borough as well as the driving factors that are pushing the Bronx towards an ever-brighter future.
