WLI Connections: Adaptive Reuse In The Brooklyn Navy Yard – A Tour & Taste Of The Kings County Distillery
Join ULI New York’s Women’s Leadership Initiative for a tour of Kings County Distillery, which is located in the 118-year-old Paymaster Building in the historic Brooklyn Navy Yard. On the tour, the distillers will explain the history, culture, and science of distilling whiskey.
Attendees will then be able to sample several of the whiskeys made on site. At the conclusion of the tour and tasting, guests will head to the Gatehouse, which is located at the entrance to the Navy Yard and dates back to 1896, for cocktails and networking.
The price includes the tour, whiskey tasting, one craft beverage, and snacks at the Gatehouse. We are excited to show off this great example of an adaptive reuse project in the Navy Yard and look forward to seeing you there!
