Join ULI New York’s Young Leaders Group for an engaging discussion about strategies on submitting a successful response to a Request for Proposal “RFP” for city owned land. The new and exciting Sendero Verde development in East Harlem that was awarded by the City of New York through a RFP process will serve as a case study. The city selected Jonathan Rose Companies and L+M Development Partners to build Sendero Verde in East Harlem, a 765,000-square-foot mixed use development featuring 699 mixed-income apartments and extensive community facility space, including a charter high school and a community center, as well as community gardens and public open space. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn strategies ranging from team selection, design, and programming from Sendero Verde’s lead project managers. The discussion will be followed by networking and refreshments.
