SOLD OUT! ULI New York's Women's Leadership Initiative's University Outreach Committee Presents: A Tour of the Starrett-Lehigh Building and Food Hall
The ULI New York Women’s Leadership Initiative Student Outreach Committee invites current undergraduate and graduate students to a special in-person evening, hosted by RXR, touring the historic Starrett Lehigh building in West Chelsea. This exciting three-part evening will feature a short presentation from ULI National followed by a building and Food Hall tour by RXR’s VP of Retail Leasing and conclude with networking at Porchlight. A number of industry professionals holding leadership positions within RXR, ULI, and ULI NY’s WLI will be in attendance.
About the Starrett-Lehigh Building
Starrett-Lehigh is a 2.3 million square foot workplace destination, home to influential companies across fashion, entertainment, media, architecture, design and technology. As an anchor of Manhattan’s west side for nearly 100 years, the building serves as the professional and cultural hub at the center of the Meatpacking District’s retail and lifestyle growth, the commercial expansion of Hudson Yards, and the residential development in Chelsea and the surrounding neighborhoods.
The building recently underwent a major repositioning to include robust amenities, transportation upgrades, health and wellness and other factors to drive productivity. The vertical campus offers up to 75,000 square-feet of amenities including onsite fitness center and wellness curriculum, an outdoor terrace and event space with Hudson River views, an indoor culinary collective, a restaurant by Marcus Samuelsson, event and flex spaces for work conferencing and social utilization, and improved accessibility for commuters.
