    Part One: Housing
    March 23, 2021 | 12:00 – 1:00 PM

The pandemic has pushed New York City’s affordable housing crisis to a breaking point, placing thousands more residents at risk of rental eviction or foreclosure of residential property mortgages. At the same time, there are real challenges and lagging indicators of distress and deepening hardship for property owners. Unpaid rent is piling up.

ULI’s distinguished panelists will discuss the challenges and potential remedies for consideration.

    Panel:
    • Moderator/Panelist: D. Sam Chandan, PhD, Larry & Klara Silverstein Chair in Real Estate Development & Investment & Academic Dean, NYU SPS Schack Institute of Real Estate
    • Jessica Katz, Executive Director, Citizens Housing and Planning Council
    • David Kramer, President, Hudson Companies
    • Arthanais Williams, Managing Director, Affordable Housing, Arbor Realty Trust, Inc.
