ULI New York 2021 Metro Policy Forum Part Three: Quality of Life and Wellbeing
As New York City reopens in the wake of the pandemic, health and well-being are top of mind. The cityscape is evolving, driven by a multitude of factors, including inequities laid bare by the pandemic, changing work and travel patterns, a demand for more open space, and requirements for decarbonization. Real estate is also changing, driven by expectations for healthier and more efficient homes and workplaces and a built environment that improves the human experience. This panel will explore both public and private sector perspectives and strategies to achieve quality-of-life improvements and key policy insights relevant to both indoor and outdoor ecosystems and their impact on New Yorker’s quality of life.
