Join ULI Western New York’s Young Leaders Group for a tour of the recently redeveloped Record Theatre and the soon-to-be redeveloped 1762 Main Street projects at the edge of the Elmwood Village and Cold Spring neighborhoods. Local development consultant and advisor Urban Vantage LLC is spearheading both developments.
The tour will be led by Urban Vantage LLC Principal Richard Rogers, who has been instrumental in the development process for both buildings. Richard graduated from SUNY Buffalo's law school and planning school in 2017. He has previously worked with the City of Buffalo, the Buffalo Urban Development Corp., the Buffalo Urban Renewal Agency, the Center for Urban Studies and GAR Associates, and his startup company, Common Owner; a crowd-source funding platform focusing on real estate development and small businesses.
Principals Richard Rogers and Travis Gordon started Urban Vantage in the spring of 2017 to address urban and regional planning issues in Buffalo and New York. The firm primarily provides community and economic development solutions with a focus on project implementation. This includes holistic project financing, grant writing, and innovative public-private partnerships. Additionally, they have experience in other areas of planning practice, including land use and housing strategies.
