The Commercial Observer Highlights Modular Building, Concurrent with Upcoming ULI New York Panel

The Commercial Observer recently highlighted Forest City Ratner’s B2 building at Atlantic Yards, soon to become the largest modular building in the world. The article discusses the cost and time-saving advantages of modular building, which real estate experts anticipate will become increasingly important as an alternative to on-site construction.

ULI New York’s upcoming program, “Construction Technologies and Methodologies—Implications in Economics and Labor,” will feature a panel of experts including MaryAnne Gilmartin, Executive Vice President of Commercial & Residential Development at Forest City Ratner, who will examine issues of design, economics, scale, labor and safety  as they relate to the modular and panelized building movement.
