Welcome Our New YLG Leadership!

We are proud to announce four new additions to our Young Leaders Group Steering Committee! In March, we welcomed Lauren Racusin and Gretchen Krueger as Executive Co-Chairs. Melissa Cohen, Programming Committee Chair, will be joined by Jeff Lovshin. After some thought about the broader goals of the YLG, the Outreach role has been expanded to three positions. Adam Fischer, Gina Wieczorek and Josh Bissinger will Co-Chair this position, and they already have a slew of terrific ideas to better advance the YLG mission. The new leaders each have something unique to contribute to the Steering Committee and we look forward to what they have in store. Read their bios below.

Jeff Lovshin BWJeff Lovshin, LEED AP
Denham Wolf

As a Manager of Transactions at Denham Wolf, Jeff provides a range of essential services including brokerage, development consulting, financial analysis, and strategic planning.  His work has included the disposition of commercial condominium space in Central Harlem, lease negotiation and execution for a national foundation, and review of potential development scenarios in Downtown Brooklyn for a local arts organization. Prior to joining Denham Wolf, Jeff worked at the US Green Building Council (USGBC), where he was responsible for increasing the visibility and knowledge of the LEED for Neighborhood Development program through outreach and market engagement with developers, industry leaders, and local representatives. Working for a local New York City real estate developer, Jeff was also responsible for underwriting significant multi-family real estate deals valued between $50 and 100 million. Jeff received a B.A. in Environmental Design (Urban Planning) and Minor in Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder and holds a Master’s degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.

Hightower, Inc.

Adam Fischer heads up the Enterprise Analytics, Operations, and Reporting team at Hightower, a cloud based leasing and asset management platform for owners and brokers of commercial real estate. He is responsible for leading the charge to build and manage the infrastructure to support Hightower’s dramatic growth, and provides insight across the organization. Prior to joining Hightower, Adam spent 3 years at Blackrock where he was a member of the client analytics team, working with some of the largest institutional asset managers around the world. While at Blackrock he played an active role on the commercial real estate modeling team, which was responsible for designing/maintaining the firm’s CMBS valuation models. Adam holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Information Systems degree from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management.

Josh BissingerBWJosh Bissinger
NYU, Stern School of Business

Josh Bissinger is an MBA student at NYU’s Stern School of Business focusing his studies on Finance, Real Estate, and Entrepreneurship. Prior to starting at NYU, Josh spent four years working at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) as a Project Manager in the Project and Development Services Group. Josh represented a diverse range of clients for whom he managed the design and construction of office, retail, restaurant, performing arts, data center, and laboratory projects throughout the New York and New Jersey markets. Josh completed his undergraduate studies at Cornell University where he received a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies in Urban Planning, Business, and Environmental Science. In addition to his involvement with the Urban Land Institute, Josh is an Executive Board member of Wendy Walk, a nonprofit organization dedicated to funding Sarcoma cancer research.

ginaGina Wieczorek
Fisher & Paykel

As the Builder Development Manager at Fisher & Paykel, Gina Wieczorek is responsible for building and managing relationships with interior designers, architects, and developers working on multi-family residential projects.  In this role, Gina works with the design and development team throughout the entire project duration, from the conceptual design phase through project completion. Prior to this role, Gina served as the Director of Marketing for Auction.com, where she oversaw all media, marketing and sales related activities involved with selling luxury properties and new residential developments around the country.  Gina holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and is currently completing the M.B.A. program at New York University, with a focus on Real Estate and Luxury Marketing.
