ULI WNY Presents: ROC the Riverway
In 2018, New York State pledged $50 million to launch the ROC the Riverway Program with 13 transformative projects along the Genesee River in Rochester, New York. The ROC the Riverway Program is a bold plan that proposes to revitalize the Genesee Riverfront in the core of Rochester. Once completed, Roc the Riverway will consolidate more than two dozen transformative projects along the Genesee River. The ultimate goal of the initiative is to leverage the city’s most significant natural asset – the Genesee River – and transform the heart of the Rochester region.
Join ULI of Western New York on May 16th for an opportunity to learn more about how the program will reshape the City of Rochester. The event’s panel will include: Erik Frisch, Project Manager for ROC the Riverway and Transportation Specialist with the City of Rochester; Shawn Dunwoody, a member of the ROC the Riverway Advisory Board; Tamara Mayberry, Director of Government Relations for Governor Cuomo; and Alex Yudelson, Mayor Lovely Warren’s Chief of Staff.
The optional bike tour will start at 3:00pm. It will be led by Erik Frisch, Transportation Specialist and Project Manager for ROC the Riverway. Participants may use their own bike or a Pace bike.
