*REGISTRATION CLOSED* ULI New York's Women's Leadership Initiative 2023 Career Development Night
Back by popular demand, join ULI New York's Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) for our 5th annual Career Development Night! This program is designed for current undergrad and graduate students who are interested in learning more about different career paths within the land use and real estate industry. Students will have an opportunity to network with peers and hear from two panels of female professionals with experience in development & design and finance & asset management. Topics will include panelists' day-to-day roles, background on their firms, how to build requisite skills, best practices for networking, and trends shaping the industry.
Students attending Career Development Night will also have the opportunity to sign up for WLI's one-on-one informational interview program - a fantastic opportunity to expand your network and get in front of key players. Companies that have participated in the past include BXP, Cooper Carry, Gensler Architects, L+M, Lend Lease, RXR, Wells Fargo, UBS, and more. Attendance of the Career Development Night is required to participate in the informational interview program.

The mission of the WLI is expressed in its four primary objectives -
- Promote the advancement of women throughout their careers as leaders in the real estate industry
- Increase the number of women who serve in leadership positions in the real estate industry and in ULI
- Increase the visibility of women leaders in the real estate industry and in ULI
- Increase the number of women who are active ULI full members and support the development of young women members as leaders in ULI and in their professions
