Creating The Roadmap: Access To Capital

Despite recent initiatives, access to capital remains the biggest challenge for women and BIPOC developers. The latest pushback against diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts has only raised additional concerns and questions. When discussing the inequity that continues to plague the real estate industry, the most commonly cited roadblocks are limited balance sheets, short track records, and lack of wealthy, influential connections.

Please join ULI for a special event featuring industry leaders and other major stakeholders as they candidly address these and other historic barriers, discuss how to access the capital markets, share best practices for capital raising, and impart what changes are needed to further expand the access to capital for women and BIPOC developers.

The program will consist of two high-level discussion panels, followed by small group, facilitated roundtable sessions for attendees to take a deep dive into related topics with experts in their fields. Event participants will have unprecedented access to industry leaders, engage in knowledge exchanges with peers and mentors, and enjoy unique networking opportunities.
